TVS Just Hit 3.72 Lakh Sales In March 2026 — iQube Up 46%

When a two-wheeler brand posts 25% growth in a single month across scooters, motorcycles, and electric vehicles simultaneously, you know something serious is happening. TVS Motor Company just dropped its March 2026 domestic sales numbers, and every major nameplate in the lineup has a story worth telling.

I have been tracking TVS sales data for a while now, and this March report genuinely surprised me. The company pushed 3,72,383 units out of showrooms in March 2026, compared to 2,97,590 units in March 2026. That is a 25.13% year-on-year jump. Even on a month-on-month basis, there is a 1.89% uptick from February 2026’s 3,65,471 units. Steady, broad-based, and not dependent on any single hero product.

Jupiter Still Runs The Show

No surprises here. The TVS Jupiter remains the undisputed volume king in the TVS stable, clocking 1,24,771 units in March 2026. That is a 17.89% YoY increase, which is impressive for a scooter that has been around for years and still manages to find new buyers every month. There was a slight 1.82% dip compared to February, but that is seasonal noise more than anything else.

Jupiter’s consistency is what makes it special. It does not need flashy launches or heavy discounts to move metal. The 125cc family scooter segment in India is massive, and Jupiter owns a huge chunk of it. Honda Activa remains the rival to beat, but TVS is clearly not losing ground.

iQube Is Becoming A Serious Force

This is the number that caught my eye the most. TVS iQube sold 38,757 units in March 2026, a massive 46.26% YoY growth. Let that sink in for a moment. An electric scooter is now outselling several established petrol motorcycles in the TVS lineup. The EV transition in India’s two-wheeler space is not coming — it is already here.

On a monthly basis, iQube grew 1.85% over February, which tells me demand is stable and not just spiking because of one-time incentives. TVS has been aggressively expanding its charging infrastructure and dealer network for iQube, and those investments are clearly paying off. For anyone still on the fence about electric scooters, these numbers should settle the debate.

Ntorq And Zest Add Sporty Scooter Volume

The Ntorq has always been the fun scooter in the TVS range, and March 2026 was a great month for it. With 32,598 units sold and a 48.52% YoY growth, the sporty 125cc scooter is clearly resonating with younger buyers who want something more exciting than a plain commuter. TVS Zest also chipped in with 9,724 units, up 25.18% YoY. Together, these two models add meaningful volume beyond what Jupiter delivers.

Raider And Apache Hold The Motorcycle Fort

In the motorcycle department, TVS Raider continues to be the growth engine. It sold 37,345 units in March 2026, registering a solid 20.51% YoY increase. The 125cc commuter motorcycle segment is fiercely competitive with Bajaj Pulsar and Hero Glamour fighting for every sale, but Raider has carved out its own space with a sporty design and feature-rich package.

The Apache range, which includes everything from the Apache RTR 160 to the flagship models, posted 47,081 units with a 6.48% YoY growth. Not explosive, but steady. The Apache brand carries a lot of equity in India’s performance motorcycle segment, and consistent five-figure monthly numbers prove it still has strong pull.

What really stood out to me was the Apache RTX / 310 range hitting 1,567 units. The recently launched RTX 300 is clearly finding buyers, and for a premium motorcycle in that price bracket, these are encouraging early numbers.

Ronin’s Quiet Rise

Here is a model that does not get enough attention. TVS Ronin sold 8,108 units in March 2026, up a staggering 60.97% YoY. The lifestyle-oriented scrambler-style motorcycle is finding its audience among riders who want something different from the usual commuter or sportbike formula. Royal Enfield dominates the lifestyle segment, but Ronin is proving there is room for a more affordable, modern alternative.

Commuter Segment Surprises

I did not expect the entry-level models to post such strong numbers, but here we are. TVS Radeon sold 15,330 units with a 51.89% YoY growth, and TVS Sport hit 10,905 units with a 54.18% jump. These are budget commuter motorcycles that serve India’s price-sensitive rural and semi-urban markets, and clearly demand in that space is alive and well.

The TVS XL moped also deserves a mention. With 46,192 units and 31.30% YoY growth, the XL continues to be a rural workhorse that refuses to die. It is one of those products that does not make headlines but quietly contributes massive volume every single month.

On the other end of the spectrum, Star City recorded just 5 units sold. That is essentially a phase-out, and I would not be surprised if TVS officially discontinues it soon.

What This Means For TVS Going Forward

The big takeaway from this March 2026 report is that TVS is not a one-trick pony. Jupiter delivers the volume, iQube is building the future, Raider and Apache hold the motorcycle middle ground, and even the budget commuters are pulling their weight. That kind of balanced portfolio is exactly what insulates a company from segment-specific slowdowns.

The iQube trajectory is particularly worth watching. At nearly 39,000 units a month, it is closing in on volumes that rival some established petrol scooters. If TVS can maintain this pace through the monsoon months, the full-year EV numbers could be genuinely landmark.

If you are in the market for a two-wheeler right now, these numbers tell you something important — TVS products are clearly resonating with a huge number of Indian buyers across every price point. Head to your nearest TVS showroom, take a test ride of whatever catches your eye, and see for yourself why these sales figures keep climbing month after month.
